Award from BMW Spartanburg

“Team Bodyshop” of the ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG BMW US Manufacturing Company LLC, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina in the USA, is worldwide the largest plant of the BMW Group with around 11,000 employees. Last year, over 400,000 vehicles were built here for the US market and for export. These days, suppliers are more than just parts supplier to BMW. They are also system developers and innovation partners. ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION GROUP is no exception and the company has been associated with the plant in South Carolina for decades. As a renowned and reliable partner for conveyor technology and automation, ROFA, together with the BMW planners, has successfully realized many projects here. For three complex and challenging projects in the bodyshop, where the entire body in white was redesigned, ROFA’s “Team Bodyshop” was recently awarded for the „Successful Launch“ 2017, 2018 and 2019. We are very pleased about this honor and the trust which is placed in us. The following projects were realized: G01 (2015-2017) EMS KB180 steel construction: approx. 600 tlifting units: 36 piecelength: approx. 2,500 mEMS vehicles: approx. 180 piece floor conveyors (chain conveyors):conveyor elements: approx. 300 piecelength: approx. 2,000 m Highlight: construction of the conveyor systems during the construction of the hall G05 (2016-2018)EMS KB180 steel construction: approx. 750 tlifting units: 33 piecelength: approx. 5,000 mEMS vehicles: approx. 420 piece floor conveyors (chain conveyors):conveyor elements: approx. 280 piece length: approx. 1,500 m Highlight: Very fast installation, personal safe worker platform „FPQL“ G05 (2017-2018) EMS KB180 steel construction: approx. 500 tlifting units: 4 piece floor conveyors (chain conveyors):conveyor elements: approx. 500 piece length: approx. 1,520 m Highlight: Implementation of a fast transfer trolley up to 70 m/min, body in white storage for 200 bodies as well as reconstruction of the oldest intersection between bodyshop and paint shop....

CEO Wolfgang Kozsar joins the Supervisory Board of ROFA AG as of the 01.01.2021

After 31 years at the helm of the ROFA Group, Wolfgang Kozsar is leaving his position as CEO to join the Supervisory Board of ROFA AG as of the 01.01.2021. Career at ROFA started in 1989.Wolfgang Kozsar can look back on an outstanding career since joining the company in 1989. In 1993, as one of two shareholders and managing directors, he took over the former Rosenheimer Förderanlagen GmbH and has since had a lasting influence on the company. Under his leadership as Chairman of the Board, the ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION GROUP has grown into a globally active group of companies with a current turnover of EUR 360 million and 1300 employees/*. Wolfgang Kozsar will move to the Supervisory Board of ROFA AG from 01.01.2021 and will thus continue to support the company in an advisory capacity. We thank him for his passionate commitment and wish him all the best for the future. Andreas Bauer: With ROFA for 25 years Andreas Bauer will succeed Mr. Kozsar as Chairman of the Board. We are pleased to be able to fill this key position with a manager from our own company. Andreas Bauer has been with the company for 25 years in various positions and has shown, during the last 8 years in his role as COO, how innovative strength, efficiency and reliability can be combined. His most important tasks now are to carry on the company’s course as a techologically advanced business with a solid foundation of values and to set up and expand all the companies in the ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION GROUP in a future-oriented manner....

ROFA congratulates the SV DJK Kolbermoor

From left: Florian Wiesner, Günther Lodes, Wolfgang Kozsar (CEO ROFA) and Christoph Kecht For many years ROFA INUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG has been the head sponsor of the table tennis department of the SV DJK Kolbermoor. An important concern for us is the support of children and young people in competitive sports. All the more we are pleased, that the excellent youth development work of the club has led to a 2nd Bundesliga team from Kolbermoor whose core players are junior athletes from the club’s own ranks. Since 1986 Commerzbank AG and the German Olympic Sports Association have been supporting the initiative „Das Grüne Band für vorbildliche Talentförderung im Verein“ (green ribbon for exemplary talent support). This honor is given to clubs for their consistent commitment to youth development work in competitive sports. The table tennis department of the SV DJK Kolbermoor applied to the award for the first time and was elected straight to second place by the jury. We do not only congratulate the club for the second place, which distinguishes the exemplary work in junior competitive sports, but also for the highest possible scores in the categories additional cadre support and club influce in prevention as well as social and educational offers. By commitment, motivation, team spirit and strategy, the SV DJK Kolbermoor manages their youth development work professionally and successfully. With the same fundamental principles, the ROFA Group has placed itself in a leading position in the field of automation and logistics solutions. ROFA AG aquires the remaining shares of ROFA MÜVEK Kft.

As of December 21, 2018, ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG has acquired the remaining shares of ROFA MÜVEK Kft. in Timar / Hungary and is hence 100% shareholder of the premium manufacturer. Laszlo Csegei, managing director of ROFA MÜVEK for many years, retired for health reasons on March 31, 2019. Roland Lakatos was appointed as new managing director, who took over as sole managing director on April 01,2019. In Roland Lakatos a successor has been found who has known the company for 18 years. We are convinced that this step will strengthen the successful continuation and development of the company within the ROFA Group. About ROFA MÜVEK ROFA MÜVEK is located in Timár / Hungary, a town of 1,300 inhabitants, approx. 2.5 hours driving time from Budapest, north-east direction. At present the company employs a staff of about 100. ROFA MÜVEK plays a distinct role within the supplier structure of ROFA AG and manufactures a large part of the heavy-duty carriers for ROFA AG....
