December 2023Recently, 20 students from the Industrial Engineering course at the University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim immersed themselves in the world of automation technology at ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG. The excursion not only provided theoretical knowledge, but also allowed aspiring engineers to gain practical experience. The event commenced at the ROFA application site in Kolbermoor, where students were given comprehensive insights into the diverse applications of automation technology, from innovative technologies to customized solutions and the ROFA Group’s range of services. Following this introduction, the excursion continued to the AUDI plant in Ingolstadt, where an exclusive tour of the body shop and final assembly was on the agenda. After a three-year break due to the pandemic, 12 of the most renowned training companies in the region gathered on May 26, 2023 at the sports grounds of Sportbund DJK Rosenheim to compete for victory on the soccer field. ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG‘s team showed an impressive sporting performance and fought its way to 6th place. Despite fierce competition, the apprentices proved their skills and met the challenges on the soccer field.Participating in the tournament not only allows the apprentices to demonstrate their sporting talents but also strengthens the team spirit within the group. March 2023INEOS Automotive has announced the start of production of its new 4×4 SUV, the INEOS Grenadier, at its Hambach plant in France. According to INEOS Automotive, an additional €50 million was invested in the plant, which was modernized multiple times during the Daimler era, after the purchase. The new production has been specifically designed for the INEOS Grenadier and includes a fully automated body in white line, a semi-automated painting line, and an assembly line. The final assembly was refurbished by ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG, who already realized the final assembly for the last Smart model in 2013. In 2020, this facility was adapted by ROFA to a possible MFA 2 Meredes series, which however never went into production as the plant was acquired by INEOS in the meantime. It is a matter truly dear to our hearts that we do not simply work together, but also spend time away from work, party together, get to know our new colleagues, or meet up with colleagues who are on site with our customers throughout the year. After more than 2 years of home office, Teams-meetings and limited opportunities to meet face-to-face, the time had come and we headed to the Costa del Sol, Spain for 5 days with 124 colleagues. The days were filled with lots of fun, excursions and sports activities, which were discussed and cheered at the bar at night.To make a long story short at this point and put in a nutshell – it was awesome. When BSS Bohnenberg GmbH started in 1992, the company had just 6 employees and was initially an independent system house for control technology for logistics systems. July 2022For the first time, the Starbulls Rosenheim transformed their ice arena in the ROFA stadion into a large educational recruiting fair on June 24, 2022. The motto was “Check your Future”. In cooperation with the Rosenheim Employment Agency and the workgroup „School-Business“, about 70 companies from the region took the opportunity to present their training offers. We, ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION AG, were also exhibitors. Our trainee fair-team was pleased to answer any questions about educational training at ROFA. And there were many questions, for example about the professions, the duration of the training, the chances of being employed after the training, the possibilities for further development or also the future prospects of the jobs. As a modern and versatile company, ROFA has always set a high value on training our specialists of tomorrow. Thus, our technical trainees are taught all basics in theory and practice in modern equipped training workshops. The existing premium partnership has been extended. ROFA and the Starbulls have been working together for more than three years. What is the connection between the internationally operating group of companies and the Starbulls? Both are strongly rooted in the region, aiming to achive the optimum by their commitment for the city, the club and the Rosenheim ice hockey. The premium partnership includes the stadium name as well as a large-scale presence with perimeter advertising in the stadium. In addition, ROFA is represented on junior teams jerseys with the main advertising space on the chest. October 2021With regard to the environmental and energy objectives of ROFA INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION Group, we have committed to a continuous improvement of our environmental/energy-related products and processes and therefore the improvement of the corporate environmental performance and energy efficiancy – for a future worth living. A major milestone to achieve these goals has now been realized with the installation of a photovoltaic system at the ROFA headquarters in Kolbermoor. The construction and commissioning was completed end of August 2021. The PV is designed with 72 solar modules and an output of 29.52 kWP and is expandable by 40 more modules. The system provides the basic supply of two office buildings, workshop, warehouse and a workshop for precommissioning. On days with low power demand, such as weekends, power is fed back into the supply network. The photovoltaic technology not only generates green power, which is a benefit to our energy balance. In combination with the increasing number of electric cars and hybrid vehicles in our fleet as well as the installation of wallboxes, our CO2-consumption is reduced by more than 20% compared to 2015. This year they can be proud of being in first place. Since 1986, Commerzbank AG and the German Olympic Sports Confederation have been supporting children and young athletes with the ” Grünes Band für vorbildliche Talentförderung im Verein”. The award is given in acknowledgement of supporting young talents in competitive sports, no matter of club size or popularity of the sport. Each year, a jury selects 50 clubs that meet the sports-specific demands for the award. One condition is that the club is actively recruiting and promoting young talents as well actively prevents doping. In 1993, as one of two shareholders and managing directors, he took over the former Rosenheimer Förderanlagen GmbH and has since had a lasting influence on the company. Roland Lakatos was appointed as new managing director, who took over as sole managing director on April 01,2019. In Roland Lakatos a successor has been found who has known the company for 18 years. We are convinced that this step will strengthen the successful continuation and development of the company within the ROFA Group. About ROFA MÜVEK ROFA MÜVEK is located in Timár / Hungary, a town of 1,300 inhabitants, approx. 2.5 hours driving time from Budapest, north-east direction.
