Wheel conveyors
In the growing market of tire production these days, tire transportation has to be highly flexible and able to react quickly to fluctuating demand and workload. For safe and efficient handling of your tires, we’ll help you with our storage solutions for finished and unvulcanized tires (carcasses, bandages).
SDIC warehouse
The SDIC warehouse is for storing raw tires on 7 levels. Each level consists of a separate chain conveyor with integrated rollers, on which the tires are arranged in rows of five. To prevent raw tires from becoming deformed in storage, they are automatically turned from time to time.
SDIC warehouse characteristics:
- Load: 10-15 kg
- Number of tires in warehouse: 490 pieces
- Vertical speed: 15-30 m/min
- Maximum tire diameter: 500 mm
FSBT warehouse
The FSBT warehouse is for storing raw tires on 7 levels. Each level consists of 5 conveyor belts with space for 8 tires. The tires are fed in and out by a roller track on each conveyor belt.
FSBT warehouse characteristics:
- Load: 15-25 kg
- Number of tires in warehouse: 560 pieces
- Vertical speed: 15-30 m/min
- Horizontal speed: 15-30 m/min
- Maximum tire diameter: 800 mm
FSET warehouse
The FSET warehouse is primarily for storing wheels with tires on 13 gravity conveyors. Each level consists of 8 gravity roller conveyors on which 9 tires can be placed. The tires are fed in and out by a roller track on each gravity conveyor.
FSET warehouse characteristics:
- Load: 15-25 kg
- Number of tires in warehouse: 936 pieces
- Vertical speed: 30-45 m/min
- Horizontal speed: 30-45 m/min
- Maximum tire diameter: 800 mm
Seat conveyors / seat manufacturing
ROFA offers solutions with pallet conveyors (roller conveyor systems) especially for transporting and manufacturing seats. The pallets with seats are transported on two levels: the lower level is for transporting empty pallets. The upper level is for the assembly process.
