The automotive supplier Continental-Teves has installed three additional assembly lines and expanded the existing automated guided vehicle system (AGVS) by adding a Caesar series platform truck. The vehicle is equipped with two belt conveyors and can carry loads of up to 200 kg.
The company is now benefiting from the fact that it switched to LogOS management and control software from MLR in 2004 when it introduced the AGVS. Due to the modular construction of the software, new vehicles and new driving courses can be quickly and easily integrated into the system.
