The restructuring of the logistics and order picking activities using an automated logistics facility is now planned for the headquarters in Wülfrath. With the help of BSS, a high bay pallet warehouse and an automated small parts storage will be built, both single-aisle and double-depth, as well as a double-aisle, single-depth tray storage. Stocking and removal for the storage is carried out with appropriate stacker cranes linked to the extensive pallet, container and tray handling equipment. Capable of processing two orders simultaneously, the multiple picking area on the 3rd floor is already being considered to be the heart of the facility.
