Celebrating 25 Years of Dynamic Logistic Systems B.V.

25 Jahre DLS Jubiläum

From the founding in 1999 to our current standing as a well-respected provider of intralogistic subsystems, our journey at Dynamic Logistic Systems B.V. has been shaped by a pioneering spirit and a commitment to excellence.

Our story traces back to 1997 when the late Mr. R.R. Hollander, co-founder of Nedcon Magazijninrichting B.V., received a pivotal request from Albert Heijn, the largest food retailer in the Netherlands, to develop an automated solution for full case order picking. This momentous inquiry laid the groundwork for the creation of the Order Release Module (ORM) and ultimately, the establishment of Dynamic Logistic Systems in 1999.

The first two ORM’s, deployed at Albert Heijn in 2002 and 2005, proved to be remarkably efficient, withstanding the test of time and remaining fully operational to this day. The success at AH in the Netherlands spurred further deployments at ICA, former AH’s sister company in Sweden, where an additional 3 ORM’s were built in 2006 and 2007.

Since these pioneering implementations, Dynamic Logistic Systems has continued to evolve and innovate, refining the ORM and expanding our portfolio to include a range of efficient material handling solutions. From Accumulating Friction-Drive™ Conveyors and the revolutionary DLS Trolley to Sequencers for high-speed sortation including DLS 90-degree diverts, our products simplify logistics while ensuring peak efficiency and quality.

Joining the ROFA Industrial Automation AG Group in 2015 advanced the professional development of DLS. Our collaboration with US distributor DMW&H in 2018 further expanded our reach, more permanent positioning our innovative DLS products on the US market.
